You’re doing your best, but something still doesn’t feel right. You may be struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break.

I help adults understand what is underneath their struggles, not just manage the symptoms. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, develop healthier ways of relating to your thoughts and emotions, and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and fulfillment.

Reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready for something to change, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Sometimes, the hardest part of therapy is knowing what to do with everything you are carrying. You may find yourself repeating familiar patterns, struggling in your relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself, or trying to navigate a major change without knowing what comes next.

I believe our struggles rarely exist in isolation. The way we experience ourselves is deeply shaped by our relationships, families, culture, and community. Rather than looking at a problem in isolation, I take time to understand the bigger picture. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, look at what may be underneath it, and identify what you want to do differently moving forward.

I bring curiosity, compassion, and openness into our work. I do not expect you to arrive with a perfectly defined problem. My role is to work alongside you, to help you make sense of what feels confusing, recognize patterns, and draw on the strengths you already possess. My approach is entirely individualized and integrative, tailored to support challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, or life transitions.

My approach is grounded in a Master of Social Work degree focused on mental health practice. This foundation shapes how I view the bigger picture of your life, a perspective I have brought to my clinical work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families within therapeutic and behavioural health settings in both Canada and the United States. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can make sense of your story, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating a meaningful way forward.

Are you feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed by a life transition? Many of my clients are young adults or adults facing changes in relationships, identity, education, work, or family life. Some feel hopeless or unsure of the next step. They want a safe, supportive space to understand their emotions, regain clarity, and develop practical tools to move forward with confidence and purpose.

I support young adults and adults using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. EMDR is a central part of how I work with trauma, PTSD, and the patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we explore unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns, reframe the stories you tell yourself, and build on your strengths to create meaningful, achievable steps forward. Therapy with me is collaborative, tailored, and focused.

I understand reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially when you’re feeling vulnerable, stuck, or hopeless. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. If you’re ready to try something new and take steps toward healing, growth, and clarity, I invite you to reach out. It would be a privilege to support you on this journey.

Many people come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand.

They’re functioning well on the outside, showing up and holding things together, but quietly feeling exhausted, anxious, numb, or unsure how to move forward.

If that’s where you are, you’re not alone, and you don’t need to arrive with the right words for any of it.

I’ll work with you to understand what’s happening on the surface—the stress, the symptoms, the patterns, and gently explore what sits underneath. That often includes your emotional patterns, protective responses, and the earlier experiences that shape what you’re feeling now.

What I care about most is creating a space that feels safe and free of judgment. Somewhere you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and build a kinder relationship with your own inner world.

Over time, the work tends to bring more self-compassion, steadier emotional awareness, healthier patterns in relationships, and a deeper sense of feeling grounded, connected, and at home in your own life.

Many of the men I work with wouldn’t say anything is wrong, exactly. Work has become a treadmill, home feels flat or far away or never quite happened, and underneath it all sits a question they rarely say out loud: what is this all for?

Sometimes it surfaces as anger. Sometimes it’s just a heaviness that won’t lift. Whatever shape it takes, talking with someone who genuinely understands what life is like for you can make a bigger difference than most men expect.

I firmly believe in the worth of every person who sits across from me, so the work starts person-centred: you set the direction, and I meet you there.

From that base I bring practical, evidence-based tools, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy through a trauma-informed lens, and weaving in Existential Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy where they fit.

I have a particular interest in working with men navigating difficult interpersonal dynamics with others in their lives either at work, at home, or somewhere else in the world.

If any of this sounds like where you’re at, reach out for a free consultation and we’ll see if we’re a good fit.

Hi, I’m Noemi!

Sometimes people come to therapy knowing they want change but feel unsure where to begin. They may struggle to understand why things are the way they are, or feel disconnected from themselves and their experiences. Many feel stuck in patterns, weighed down by the past, or uncertain about how to move forward.

Therapy begins with building a strong, genuine connection. I create a space where you are heard and understood. Together, we will explore what you bring to therapy, the interconnected aspects of your life, and what it means to you.

I offer individual, couple, and group therapy to support a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, anger, addictions, relationship challenges, and more complex mental health experiences.

In our work together we’ll focus on understanding patterns, processing difficult emotions, and developing practical ways to move forward.

For couples, I support the identification of strengths and areas for growth, while working to improve communication and navigate conflict and life stressors. The work is oriented toward increasing awareness, strengthening connection, and fostering more supportive and resilient relationships.

Over time, you may begin to feel more grounded and self-aware, gaining a clearer understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. With increased awareness and improved communication, you may feel more equipped to navigate challenges and build more connected, fulfilling relationships.

If you have reached a point where simply managing the problem - whatever it may be - is no longer enough, therapy can be an opportunity to understand what is really happening beneath the surface.

Therapy is not about telling you what you want to hear. I believe meaningful change requires honesty, self-reflection, and a willingness to look a little deeper. When it is helpful, I will gently challenge you to consider another perspective, question a familiar narrative, or explore an alternative explanation for why you feel or think a certain way; not because your experience is wrong, but because there may be more than one way of understanding it.

I also believe that our histories matter. The experiences we have had, the relationships that shaped us, and the ways we learned to protect ourselves can continue to influence how we think, feel, relate to others, and see ourselves long after the original circumstances have passed. Helping clients understand those patterns can give them more choice in how they respond today. Result:

My personal and professional experiences, including a 20-year career in law enforcement, have deepened my understanding of the complexity of being human. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I approach each client with curiosity, an open perspective, and a sincere interest in what makes you unique. I can help you peel back the layers of your story and psyche to better understand what’s not working for you and why.
